Responsibilities of Caring Partner Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support, and changing linens. Provide supportive services to help ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met each day. Support licensed and certified staff in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by tidying resident rooms and ensuring spaces are orderly. Ensure call bells, bed controls, and essential items are within reach to promote resident safety and independence. Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction to enhance residents’ emotional well-being and quality of life. Support a culture of teamwork, kindness, and dignity in all interactions with residents, families, and team members. Qualifications for Caring Partner High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language. Must be able to work collaboratively with multiple residents and team members in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to care for and support older adults. Ability to follow directions and work as part of a supportive care team.
