Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing complex accounting needs, which will become a critical part of an innovative company. This position will provide accounting and financial support to the Controller. In addition, the Senior Accountant will perform a broad range of analysis work, which includes generating financial reports, reviewing, and validating source data, analyzing information for accuracy, and finding ways to improve current processes by making recommendations and giving relevant feedback. This position will include problem solving to challenging multi-faceted work issues and ongoing support to Finance and interrelated departments. What You'll Do o:Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in compliance with GAA P.Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAA P.Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting proces s.Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks ) Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purpose s.In-depth knowledge of reconciling month end balance sheet accounts and identifying variance s.Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transaction s.Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entrie s.Assist/support others within Finance with bank reconciliations and other tasks to ensure month end close deadlines are achieve d.Maintain depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation as well as other balance sheet accounts as assigne d.Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary and other duties as assigne d.Perform work in accordance with organizations and industry’s ethical standard s.Protects organization's value by keeping information confidentia l.Research accounting issues as necessary.
