About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting of private funds and related entities, ensuring compliance with legal documents and SEC custody rules. This role involves leading quarterly closes, fund audits, and driving improvements in reporting processes. The Vice President will also be expected to represent the accounting function at private fund board meetings, coordinate the production of various financial statements for investors, and foster collaboration between accounting and corporate social responsibility teams. Applicants for the Vice President, Fund Accounting position at the company must have a Bachelor of Science in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in fund accounting. A strong background in technical fund accounting, managing complex fund structures, and leading audits is essential. The role requires expertise in fee calculations, including management fees and carried interest, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with financial reporting tools and processes for private funds is also a key requirement.
