As the Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that our dishes uphold the highest quality standards. You will play a crucial role in menu development, staff management, and maintaining a seamless workflow in the kitchen, all while contributing to the ambiance that defines our restaurant's unique dining experience. We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,000 annually, alongside an engaging workplace culture that fosters creativity and teamwork. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage kitchen staff Assist in menu planning and development with a focus on seafood dishes Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations Train and mentor kitchen staff, enhancing their culinary skills Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service Implement cost control measures to optimize kitchen efficiency Requirements Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef in a restaurant Strong understanding of seafood preparation and cooking techniques Excellent leadership and team management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Relevant culinary degree or certification is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
