ComplyAuto is looking for a driven Software Sales Specialist who enjoys opening doors, winning new business, and exceeding goals. You'll sell software that helps automotive dealerships and dealer groups nationwide address operational, compliance, and technology challenges.

You'll own the sales cycle: build your pipeline, connect with decision-makers, deliver compelling demonstrations, and close the deal. Bring your curiosity, competitive spirit, and ability to show customers the value of a solution. Our Customer Success team handles onboarding and ongoing support, giving you the time to pursue your next opportunity.

With a $75,000 base salary and on-target earnings of $150,000+, based on performance, this role rewards your ability to deliver results. You'll report directly to the Vice President of Sales and combine remote work with travel to meet prospects and represent ComplyAuto at industry events.

What You'll Do

• Build your pipeline: Generate new business through cold calling, email, social outreach, referrals, industry events, and timely follow-up on marketing leads.
• Understand customer needs: Conduct discovery conversations with dealer principals, general managers, and other decision-makers to identify challenges and recommend appropriate software solutions.
• Demonstrate our products: Deliver engaging demonstrations that clearly explain product capabilities, business value, and competitive advantages.
• Negotiate and close: Address objections, prepare service agreements, and negotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines.
• Achieve revenue goals: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual recurring revenue targets.
• Represent ComplyAuto: Attend dealer association meetings, conferences, conventions, and trade shows, and visit dealerships to develop business relationships.
• Keep opportunities moving: Maintain accurate HubSpot records, sales forecasts, and next steps.
• Collaborate across teams: Coordinate account outreach, provide customer and competitive feedback, and ensure smooth handoffs to Customer Success.

What You'll Bring

• At least two years of full-cycle, quota-carrying B2B sales experience, with a demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding quota.
• Experience selling SaaS, automotive dealership technology, technical platforms, compliance, or cybersecurity solutions.
• Working knowledge of at least one of the following: consumer privacy laws, the FTC Safeguards Rule, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, dealership accounting, titling, or finance and insurance.
• Success generating your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, including cold calls and cold emails.
• Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and closing skills, with confidence engaging senior decision-makers.
• Experience using CRM systems, video conferencing tools, and web-based software; HubSpot experience is preferred.
• The initiative and organization to manage a remote schedule while consistently meeting activity goals and deadlines.
• A bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

Experience working in automotive dealerships or selling to automotive dealers is preferred.

Location and Travel

This is a remote position requiring travel up to 60%, including overnight trips. Some months may require travel three out of every four weeks for conferences, conventions, dealership visits, and other business development activities.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets rental vehicle insurability requirements. The role includes walking, standing, sitting, driving, and using a laptop and phone, with reasonable accommodations available.

Candidates must reside in the continental United States and live within an hour's drive time from a major airport.

Compensation and Benefits

• $75,000 base salary plus commission on new annual recurring revenue sold.
