Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, tailoring evaluations to individual needs.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, preferences, and unique experiences, ensuring the therapeutic approach is client-centered.

• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders effectively.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them with knowledge and resources.

• Monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect shifting needs and foster recovery.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients, bridging any gaps in treatment.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorders to continuously refine and improve therapeutic practices.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, which is essential for effective treatment and compliance.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
