Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, developing tailored treatment plans for each individual
• Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at improving mobility, enhancing strength, and restoring balance and function
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including nurses, physicians, and case managers, to optimize patient recovery outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment goals, discharge plans, and home exercise programs
• Maintain detailed documentation regarding evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with facility and legal requirements
• Engage in care team meetings and multidisciplinary discussions to promote seamless communication and coordinated care

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Current state license as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications within fields such as geriatrics or neurology are advantageous but not required

• Prior patient care experience is highly preferred
