Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and therapeutic goals.

• Provide therapeutic interventions including individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients, enhancing treatment outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development, participate in training and workshops, and remain informed on the latest mental health research and trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving individuals and families experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. By working with populations that have historically had limited access to mental health services, you will help empower clients to achieve greater emotional and psychological stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• At least two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.

• A thorough understanding of ethical and legal standards pertaining to mental health services.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and related technology.

• The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
