Accounts Receivable Representative: III
Primary Location : Phoenix, AZ\n\n
\nV-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Accounts Receivable Representative: III for our premier client in Phoenix, AZ. Education and Experience: \n
- \n
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare payment posting (manual and electronic) \n
- \n
- Strong knowledge of EOBs, EFTs, ERAs, COB, and 835 file interpretation \n
- Knowledge of accounting principles related to revenue cycle and payment reconciliation \n
- Deep understanding of payer rules (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Workers' Comp) \n
- Familiarity with contractual adjustments, proration logic, and secondary/tertiary payment rules \n
- Prior experience with complex denial resolutions and reconciliation of unapplied payments. \n
- \n
- High attention to detail and accuracy in posting across multiple dates of service, payers, and accounts \n
- Excellent math and analytical skills to interpret remits and validate correct application \n
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with billers, collectors, and payers \n
- Ability to follow and suggest improvements to internal SOPs and workflows \n
- Ability to break down and allocate lump sum payments across multiple patient accounts \n
- Comfortable with researching payment variances and resolving discrepancies independently \n
