Accounts Receivable Clerk

About The RoleThe position involves posting cash to our A/R system and handling collection of outstanding receivables.Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00/hour. Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Candidates with additional relevant degrees or certifications and extensive experience may be considered for the higher end of the salary range.Shift: 1st shiftEducation: Certification or Associate's Degree in Accounting required.Top 5 Skills and Abilities we are seeking in an applicant:Must have accurate data entry and math skills.Must have strong analytical skills.Ability to develop improvement techniques.Knowledge of SAP preferred.Credit report must be acceptable to SEW-EURODRIVE.Top 5 Tasks for this position:Work up daily cash deposits and bank wire payments posting to customers' accounts in SAP; record daily to monthly cash logs for Corporate Accounting.Research and resolve customer payment discrepancies maintaining a record of all findings and collection efforts.Maintain Aging Accounts Receivable Reports.Analyze Credit Requests —pricing issues, RGA's etc, to resolve payment issues.Back up on entering Account Payable invoices when needed.Although we have described above what we are generally looking for, we are very likely missing other attributes and skills that may make you a great fit!
