Job Description

Responsibilities

Draft insurance coverage opinions and coverage position letters
Analyze insurance policies and coverage issues
Handle coverage-related litigation matters
Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
Assist with declaratory judgment actions and other coverage disputes
Collaborate with attorneys on complex coverage matters
Manage assignments while meeting deadlines and client expectations

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school
Active Illinois Bar admission required
2-6 years of insurance coverage experience
Experience with commercial general liability, commercial auto, professional liability, D&O, or related policies preferred
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment
