This position offers a monthly performance-based bonus opportunity, with the potential to earn several hundred dollars in addition to your hourly pay. Summary of Role: As an Account Representative with Monterey Financial, you will help consumers take control of their financial future by utilizing excellent customer service and negotiating skills. Assist consumers with account level questions and adjustments Negotiate and process payment on accounts in various stages of delinquency Understand and adhere to MFS and Client policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications and skills: Reliability and the desire to learn Excellent communication, active listening and problem solving skills Ability to provide excellent customer service Comfortable with fast-paced environments Basic math and typing skills Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software Strong time management skills and ability to multitask Effectively identify and solve problems Basic credit and/or collection knowledge a plus Education and/or Experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Customer Service Experience or Call Center Experience (preferred, not required). Licenses/Certifications: N/A Physical Demands: This job operates its functions in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear using a telephone headset and is required to sit for a long period while using a computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
