Associate Attorney — General Liability or Toxic Tort Litigation

Locations: California (Los Angeles or Irvine) Experience: 2+ years

Our client, a nationally renowned litigation firm focused on complex civil matters, is seeking Associate Attorneys to join one of two practice groups: General Liability or Toxic Tort Litigation. This opportunity is ideal for a self-directed defense litigator who wants challenging work in a collegial, entrepreneurial environment.

What You'll Work On:

• Independently manage a litigation caseload across local and national accounts throughout California
• Conduct depositions
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial
• Review and analyze discovery requests
• Draft and respond to discovery requests, pleadings, and motions
• Provide trial preparation and support
• Maintain accurate time records

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 2+ years of defense litigation experience
• Preferred experience in one or more of: General Liability, Product Liability, Complex Litigation, Toxic Tort Liability, or Environmental Liability
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice in the State of California
• Experience with motion practice and depositions, including lead roles in plaintiff and expert depositions
• Superior research and writing skills
• Ability to work independently and analyze complex matters efficiently
