Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's or advanced degree in a healthcare‑related field or a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science, Data Analytics) 1+ years of healthcare data experience, including a strong background in healthcare or clinical analytics High proficiency in SQL, with the ability to independently mine and process large‑scale, complex healthcare datasets Proficiency in a data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and the ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear stories for both technical and non‑technical audiences Deep understanding of claims billing processes and code sets (e.g., ICD‑10, CPT, HCPCS), including knowledge of how these elements are applied in analytics Working knowledge of additional coding languages (e.g., Python, R) is a strong plus Self‑starter with a healthy skepticism regarding data validity and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and agile environment Please review the additional requirements regarding essential job functions of McKinsey colleagues. The salary range for new joiners in this role in the United States, including all office locations where the job may be performed, is $92,000 – $95,000 USD gross per year. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
