Job Title Assistant Professor - Hematology Faculty Department Medicine | IM Hematology Position Overview Assistant Professor to serve as a member of the Division of Hematology within the Department of Internal Medicine. The role involves developing and performing a program of research in hematology, obtaining external research funding, supervising laboratory staff, and participating in the academic commitments of the division and department. Responsibilities Design, conduct, and oversee a program of research in hematology. Secure and manage external research funding. Supervise laboratory staff and research personnel. Engage in teaching, mentoring, and service activities as required by the division and department. Education and Experience Requirements Required: PhD or equivalent in a related field; an established record or strong evidence of the ability to achieve extramurally‑funded and productive scholarship in the discipline of medical laboratory science or related field; ability to mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
