Do you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? If so, we are looking for you to join our team at Slingsby & Huot Eye Associates in Rapid City, SD as a Medical Billing Specialist!
Job Responsibilities:- Accurately post insurance and patient payments (primary responsibility)
- Follow up on outstanding insurance clalims and patient accounts
- Answer billing-related patient questions
- Perform medical billing and coding for ophthalmology services as needed
- Assist with other billing and revenue cycle duties as needed
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous medical billing experience preferred, but not required
- Medical coding experience is preferred, but not required
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Regular and reliable attendance
