Business Operations Specialist Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid) 12-Month Contract JPC - 20584 Solugenix is assisting a client, a prestigious and large investment management company, in their search for a Business Operations Specialist . This is a 12-month contract opportunity based out of Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid). Qualifications 3-6 years' experience. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Project coordination and organizational skills. Communication and cross-functional collaboration. Knowledge of business processes and workflow tools. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Ability to integrate AI is a plus. Ability to move quickly and manage multiple priorities. Responsibilities Inbox Monitoring Monitor RDS distribution and central inboxes. Review and triage incoming emails daily. Categorize and assign requests appropriately. Flag urgent or high-priority items. Expected Outcome All inbound requests are reviewed promptly. Clear prioritization of workload. No missed or delayed requests. Request Management Respond to and process simple access requests. Submit, track, and follow up on Flow tickets. Escalate issues as needed. Support Fixed Price and trial user access requests, including setup, tracking, and follow-up. Expected Outcome Timely request fulfillment. Reduced backlog and turnaround time. Improved request tracking and closure. Onboarding/Offboarding Administration Support IG and FRG new hire onboarding, including scheduling, access setup (CRED), distribution of welcome materials, and required ticket submissions. Support EU and US onboarding administration (meeting scheduling, invites, follow-ups). Assist with departures follow-up, entitlement removals, and related ticket submissions. Expected Outcome Seamless onboarding experience. Timely access provisioning. Proper and timely offboarding completion. Entitlements, CRED & Access Support Provide administrative support for CRED activities, including quarterly evaluations, tracking, and responding to routine queries. Escalate market data platform entitlements queries. Escalate Visible Alpha/AlphaSense broker entitlements. Track and ensure completion of entitlement-related requests. Expected Outcome Timely resolution of entitlement requests. Improved visibility and tracking of entitlement status. Data Quality & Inventory Reconcile vendor user lists vs MDM records. Update DQ Dashboard, IGA, CorpAxe. Identify and correct data discrepancies. Track VRAP and decommissioning actions. Expected Outcome Improved data accuracy. Better compliance tracking. Fewer data-related issues. Vendor & Trial Coordination Schedule vendor demos and training sessions. Manage logistics (virtual and on-site). Track new and ongoing trials. Maintain trial records. Support renewal and pricing admin tasks. Expected Outcome Organized vendor engagement. Clear visibility into trials. Timely coordination of sessions. Low Complexity Fixed Price Providers Manage renewal process for invoice-eligible providers. Confirm user feedback and renewal requirements. Reconcile user lists with vendors. Coordinate handoff to RDS Payments for processing. Document renewal activities in ZIP. Expected Outcome Timely and accurate renewals. Alignment between users, vendors, and payments. Proper documentation and audit trail. Project & Admin Support Support Relationship Managers (RMs). Assist with admin-heavy project tasks. Maintain documentation and processes. Provide team coverage as needed. Expected Outcome Increased team capacity. Improved documentation quality. Continuity during absences. Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $48.28/hour to $48.28/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
