Operations Manager

Position Overview The position is described below. Regular or Temporary: Regular. Language Fluency: English (Required). Work Shift: 1st Shift (United States of America). Essential Duties and Responsibilities Improve, identify, and implement processes for efficiency in placing and tracking business. Act as the go‑to person for clients to efficiently direct case activity, design, underwriting, and sales strategies for direct access and non-direct access carriers. Identify and communicate carrier specialties to achieve greater efficiencies and support process development. Engage in continual educational development in all aspects of the business to support channel initiatives. Recommend and suggest process improvements for identifying issues and developing solutions to increase efficiency. Provide proactive customer service that drives revenue plan achievement. Process and complete case management requirements for both light and full service models. Collaborate with Marketing to develop campaigns. Support service initiatives to enhance the Tellus channel. Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent GED. Experience with PCs in a Windows environment. Effective interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Effective time management skills. Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously. Capability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Self‑directed work approach. Knowledge of all aspects of the business, including case design, underwriting, case management, carriers’ niche, advanced sales, licensing and contracting, and commissions. Three years of experience in sales, underwriting, case design, and/or case management processing. Proven track record of excellent customer service. Solution-oriented with the ability to go above and beyond. Results-oriented and able to work creatively within guidelines. Excellent computer skills, proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access. Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
