Job Description

With the launch of Claude for Teachers, we're partnering with K-12 districts to help educators reclaim time, personalize instruction, and model responsible AI use for the next generation of learners. As Scaled Customer Success Manager for K-12, you'll be the primary post-sale point of contact for a broad portfolio of districts, and the architect of how those districts activate, adopt, and expand Claude across their schools.

This is not a traditional 1:1 CSM role — you'll operate in a one-to-many model, designing scalable programs, content, and training infrastructure that let a high volume of districts succeed simultaneously, rather than managing individual accounts through bespoke touchpoints. You'll build the assets that inspire teachers, the train-the-trainer curricula that let districts grow their own internal experts, and the repeatable playbooks that turn a strong launch into durable, district-wide adoption.

You'll work closely with the Beneficial Deployments team, Product, and Marketing to ensure the voice of K-12 educators shapes how Claude for Teachers evolves, and you'll be a visible champion for what safe, beneficial AI looks like in public education.

Key responsibilities:

• Guide a portfolio of districts through onboarding, activation, and early wins via digital-first and one-to-many engagement

• Design and deliver the K-12 enablement strategy end to end: onboarding cohorts, live and on-demand webinars, office hours, and lifecycle communications focused on value realization

• Guide district IT and admin teams through the technical foundation for launch (SSO, provisioning setup, workspace configuration), turning learnings into self-serve setup guides that scale across the portfolio

• Help districts establish the right governance posture from day one — data retention, audit logging, admin controls, and student data privacy (FERPA, COPPA) — so IT leaders and administrators trust the deployment before a single teacher logs in

• Build and launch scalable, teacher-facing assets (use case libraries, lesson-aligned prompt guides, video walkthroughs, quick-start kits)

• Develop and run a Train-the-Trainer program for district instructional coaches, tech integration specialists, and teacher-leaders, building internal expertise without ongoing dependence on Anthropic

• Monitor activation and adoption signals across the portfolio, identify at-risk or stalled districts, and deploy targeted interventions

• Capture and synthesize educator feedback, surfacing use cases, friction points, and feature requests to Product and the Claude for Teachers team

• Partner with Marketing and Sales on district success stories, reference accounts, and community programs

• Establish the repeatable playbooks, templates, and health metrics that define "great" scaled K-12 customer success at Anthropic

Interview process: includes a take-home assessment.

Travel: open to travel ideal, 2–3 trips estimated

Qualifications

• Understand the AI-in-education landscape (required)
• Have EdTech customer success or learning design experience (preferred)
• Demonstrate strong executive presence to drive district-level deployments.
• SSO technical knowledge is a nice-to-have, not required.
