Job Description

Position Summary\nThe General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the manufacturing facility. This position oversees customer quotations, procurement, production, inventory, quality, shipping, maintenance, safety, and personnel to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer specifications.\nThe Site Manager serves as the primary leader of the satellite facility and is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the operation from receipt of customer inquiries through final shipment. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong business acumen, manufacturing experience, and the ability to balance customer service, operational efficiency, and profitability.\nEssential Responsibilities\nCustomer & Sales Support\nPrepare accurate and timely quotations for customer inquiries.\nWork directly with customers to clarify project scope and delivery expectations.\nMonitor quoted work through production and delivery.\nProcurement & Inventory\nPurchase raw materials, components, and outside services to support production schedules.\nMonitor inventory levels to balance customer demand and inventory investment.\nWork with main facility to confirm accurate inventory.\nOperations & Production\nPlan, schedule, and oversee daily manufacturing operations.\nCoordinate fabrication, assembly, inspection, and shipping activities.\nMonitor production schedules to meet customer commitments.\nEnsure compliance with company quality and safety standards and customer specifications.\nManage a team of 1-3 production employees.\nShipping & Logistics\nOversee packaging, shipping, and logistics activities.\nCoordinate freight carriers and delivery schedules.\nCoordination with Corporate\nCommunicate with corporate Accounting to provide accurate costs and for profit and loss management.\nCommunicate with corporate Sales to provide accurate forecasting and staffing requirements.\nCompensation: $115-120k.
