Embrace a dynamic, hands-on role working one-on-one with students in a supportive educational setting as a contract Physical Therapist in the Tacoma area. This full-time, on-site opportunity is ideal for travel professionals eager to bring their expertise to a collaborative school environment. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy required
- Valid Physical Therapist Licensure in Washington (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with educational teams, students, and families
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, one-on-one physical therapy services to students
- Conduct evaluations, write and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student wellness
- Maintain thorough and timely records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
