Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working closely with students as a school-based Physical Therapist. This full-time, on-site position focuses on providing 1:1 therapy services designed to help students achieve their mobility and developmental goals within the academic setting. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy required
- Valid Physical Therapist Licensure in Washington State
- Experience delivering 1:1 therapy in schools or pediatric settings highly desirable
- Ability to adapt treatment approaches to diverse student needs
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working full-time, on-site, and open to travel professionals
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized physical therapy plans for students according to IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support student success
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student motor skills and recommend interventions
- Provide direct therapy, modify activities, and offer strategies within the classroom setting
- Maintain accurate and timely records for compliance and reporting
- Educate staff and families on best practices for promoting mobility and safe movement
