Make an impact supporting K–12 students as an on-site school psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with a dynamic educational team and positively influence students across various grade levels. The assignment runs from October 1, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with potential for extension based on performance.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid, active school psychologist license in Alabama (required)
• Previous experience working with K–12 populations in school settings
• Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
• Flexibility to serve multiple campuses and adapt to changing schedules
• Professionalism and high ethical standards
• Documentation of license required for onboarding

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students in need
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to design and implement appropriate supports
• Interpret assessment data and participate in eligibility determination meetings
• Develop and recommend individualized intervention strategies
• Provide crisis response and consultation as needed
• Manage documentation, reporting, and record-keeping in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Serve students across various age groups (K–12); potential itinerant schedule based on caseload demands

This position is strictly on-site and may involve serving different schools in the Mobile, AL, area—specific assignments will be clarified as the start date approaches. Interviews begin August 26, 2026; no interviews will be conducted between August 31 and September 4, but scheduling resumes as soon as possible thereafter.
