Visit us at .You Are:As the Senior Lead Generation/Business Development Representative at UST, you'll be the tip of the spear for growth in one of today's most dynamic vertical spanning the Utilities sector. Working US targets, you'll independently run the full top-of-funnel motion — uncovering critical business needs, qualifying stakeholders, and building a pipeline of vetted opportunities shared with you hand off to UST Sales Leaders and Practice Head. This is a high-visibility seat for a proven hunter who owns their numbers and thrives on results.The opportunity: Lead initial outreach and build relationships with key decision-makers targeted Utilities accounts, using sharp, senior-level prospecting strategies.Maintain a disciplined cadence of contact with customers and prospects so UST stays top of mind throughout the buying cycle.Own and consistently hit quarterly lead-generation and customer contact goals — you drive your own number.Keep CRM data accurate and current, ensuring leads, activity, account ownership, and opportunities are always correctly aligned.Partner with internal Marketing to plan and execute campaigns that effectively engage prospects and generate qualified interest.Research target organizations and the competitive landscape to sharpen messaging and power effective outbound campaigns.Build and continuously refresh Go-To-Market materials that arm the wider sales team for success.What you need:Highly motivated, tenacious self-starter who takes ownership At least 6 years of experience in prospecting, lead generation, or sales, with a track record of hitting targetsAt least 2 years of experience business development within the Utilities, Oil & Gas, Renewable or Energy industry (or relative industries)Highly motivated, tenacious self-starter who takes ownership without being told twiceProven success identifying and engaging C-level clients, and setting qualified meetings for senior sales leadersSharp communication and presentation skills, with genuine confidence holding executive-level conversationsDetail-oriented and highly organized, with experience supporting RFP/RFI responsesBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceCompensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.Role Location: West US-RemoteCompensation Range: $127,000-$159,000BenefitsFull-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching.
