Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Safeguard patient comfort and safety during procedures, elucidating each step with empathy and clarity
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality of diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
• Meticulously document procedures and upkeep patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a comparable field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
