Position Overview

Responsibilities Include

• Executing a varied array of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, gynecological, obstetric, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritizing patient comfort and safety during examinations, while effectively communicating each procedure's process
• Teaming up with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the production of accurate diagnostic images
• Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Meticulously documenting each procedure and maintaining patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keeping abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and practices

Required Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
