Job Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves supporting healthcare delivery and patient management with flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of the practice. Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide care aligned with established standards and guidelines, respond to patient calls with appropriate triage, and offer reassurance and clear instructions.
• Facilitate smooth healthcare service delivery during patient visits by ensuring medical records are accurate and up to date. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Monitor and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians and document findings thoroughly. Confirm patient understanding of physician instructions upon discharge and accurately document billing information in electronic medical records.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams under supervision. Responsibilities include applying splints and dressings, managing medication samples and logs, coordinating patient testing and referrals, obtaining consents for procedures, and distributing educational materials. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as required.
• Maintain clinical areas by ensuring supplies, equipment, and patient education materials are well stocked and organized. Keep exam rooms clean and sterile, adhering to protocols to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program. Work Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week. Location: Serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
