Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions that cater to clients experiencing a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns.

• Perform comprehensive client assessments to identify strengths, challenges, and mental health needs, and create tailored treatment plans that promote goal attainment.

• Deliver supportive counseling, crisis intervention techniques, and psychoeducation to help clients and their families understand mental health issues and navigate their treatment journey.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nursing staff, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and adjustments to care plans in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Stay updated on best practices and emerging research in mental health counseling to provide the highest quality of care.

• Engage in ongoing professional education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.

• A current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license issued by the state of Oregon.

Compensation and Benefits\n
