• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focused on fluency, voice, language, and swallowing issues.
• Collaborate closely with a range of healthcare professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to establish comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and families to extend progress beyond the clinical environment.
• Occasionally assist with inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Required Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of employment.
