About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks or 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum years of experience required in level 4 NICU. License: State license required. Temporary licenses may be accepted with appropriate documentation. Certifications: BLS, NRP required. RRT certification required. ACCS preferred. Must-Have: - Level 4 NICU experience - Cardiac PICU experience preferred - Competency in the use of Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A Description: Client offers clinical review for candidates. Positions available for nights with potential for 36 or 48 hours per week. Must work every other weekend and every other holiday. Two out of three winter holidays must be worked. Self-scheduling model in use; managers will explain during the call but cannot guarantee preferred schedules. Candidates must have experience in high-risk deliveries, acute care pediatrics, and should be comfortable in multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are essential. Responsibilities include care for patients in NICU, PICU, and other pediatric care settings. Candidates must be competent in various respiratory procedures and technologies related to neonates and children. Healthcare staff must adhere to facility policies and guidelines. The role involves working closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
