The Administrative Assistant at Morning Star Academy will be a key player in our school's operations, balancing essential office responsibilities with dynamic support for our teaching staff. This role requires a versatile individual with strong book keeping skills, proficiency in office management tasks, and the flexibility to float between classrooms to provide teacher breaks.

General Accountabilities:

• Schedules & Executes the Scholastic Book Fair (Fall & Spring)
• Ensures the accuracy of student immunization records for the annual audit, as well as, communicates with parents when immunizations are out-of-date
• Cafeteria Monitor – helps when needed to clean tables, log lunches in monitor, serve children
• Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.
• Assist in researching and developing resources that create timely and efficient workflow.
• Assist in the systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
• Performs other related duties as requested or assigned.
• Substitutes in classes as needed.

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour Morning Star Academy goes beyond academic excellence; we focus on shaping hearts and character.
