We are looking for an accomplished Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations for a growing gaming and hospitality organization in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role will oversee key financial processes, support accurate and timely reporting, and help strengthen internal controls across multiple accounting functions. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, deep technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Direct daily general ledger activities and maintain the accuracy and completeness of financial records across assigned areas.

• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met and financial results are prepared in a timely manner.

• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to promote strong accounting compliance.

• Oversee cash and treasury-related accounting activities, including monitoring balances and coordinating related reporting needs.

• Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation tracking, and record maintenance.

• Partner with internal and external auditors by preparing documentation, answering inquiries, and supporting financial statement audit requirements.

• Evaluate accounting workflows and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and internal control effectiveness.

• Supervise and develop accounting staff, providing guidance, prioritization support, and performance feedback.

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility within a complex business environment.
• Strong command of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
• Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries and maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
• Background supporting financial statement audits and working effectively with external auditors.
• Knowledge of cash, treasury, and fixed asset accounting practices.
• Ability to analyze financial data, resolve discrepancies, and uphold high standards of accuracy.
• Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills in deadline-driven settings.
