Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their mental health status and identify any concerns relating to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, or eating disorders.

• Provide referrals to other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, when medication management is required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve clients within the community who present with a diverse range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will engage with individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and demographic backgrounds, requiring a strong commitment to culturally competent care. Your ability to establish trust and rapport is essential in helping clients feel safe and understood as they navigate their mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California.

• Minimum of four years of relevant counseling experience.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, and ethical guidelines in practice.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
