Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Compassion Core Services, your daily responsibilities will entail:

• Providing therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a variety of psychological and relational issues.

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and developing tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitating effective communication strategies among family members to resolve conflicts and enhance relationships.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, and adjustment to separation and divorce.

• Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in accordance with organizational policies and state regulations.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development through case discussions, supervision, and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will include diverse populations, with an emphasis on couples and families navigating complex relational dynamics. Specific areas of concern may encompass alcohol and substance use disorders, chronic grief, conflicts among family members, major life transitions such as separation or divorce, and blended family challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in facilitating healthier communication and fostering resilience among clients.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of Massachusetts.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
