Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An established healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations at a busy location in the Bronx, NY. This direct hire opportunity offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no nights or weekends and closures on most federal holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations, including managing workflow, inventory control, patient safety initiatives, and quality assurance efforts.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations such as HIPAA and policies addressing Fraud, Waste & Abuse.
- Maintain alignment with health center facility policies and organizational operational standards.
- Supervise prescription dispensing, verification, and documentation to guarantee accuracy and safety.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the pharmacy team.
Qualifications:
- Current New York State Pharmacist License.
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmacist experience, including at least 3 years in a pharmacy management or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and pharmacy best practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide pharmacy staff.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Location:
Bronx, New York
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- No nights or weekends
- Closed most federal holidays
