Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each patient, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific conditions and goals.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and solution-focused therapy, ensuring the highest standard of care.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, addressing common mental health concerns while fostering a sense of community and belonging among participants.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure that all aspects of patient care are coordinated and holistic.

• Provide crisis intervention services and develop strategies for immediate support during critical moments of mental health distress.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources in the community for further support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation compliant with HIPAA and ethical guidelines, ensuring that patient privacy is respected at all times.

• Engage in continuous professional development by remaining updated on the latest research, techniques, and practices within the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele who face various mental health conditions, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex diagnoses like PTSD and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New York is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
