Overview
Interventional Radiology Tech – Radiology Tech travel assignment in Kansas City, KS, starting 10/04/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,876 to $2,967 per week. Shift: 4x10-hour days (40 hours/week). Travel assignment in a hospital setting with a fast-paced IR service. Orientation and onboarding are included, with a structured start to ensure credentialing.

Responsibilities
- Assist and perform interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of radiologists, including device delivery and patient monitoring
- Operate imaging equipment and support sterile technique, scrub for procedures, and manage the radiation safety standards
- Position patients, document procedures, and assist with post-procedure care and patient recovery
- Support vascular, peripheral, and neurovascular IR cases, including neck-down workflows and thyroid biopsies as applicable
- Coordinate with the IR team to manage a fast-paced workflow across up to seven rooms and a high daily case volume
- May float to related IR units as needed to cover staffing and patient care needs
- Adhere to facility policies, patient safety guidelines, and equipment-specific protocols (Siemens systems: Artis Icono, Artis Q, Artis Zee – single-plane)

Requirements
- Active ARRT Radiography credential (in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (eligible to apply after offer; KS lic pending acceptable to start if allowed)
- AHA BLS certification
- Experience: 2 years of IR experience with scrub duties required; 3 years of IR experience and large-hospital background preferred; peripheral and neurovascular exposure strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced IR environment and to float to related IR units as needed
