Head of Finance Shared Services

A financial technology platform is seeking a senior accounting operations leader to oversee finance shared services, general ledger ownership, month-end close, accounting operations, and process improvement. This role is ideal for a hands‑on accounting leader who has managed through layers and can bring structure, scalability, and operational discipline to a growing finance organization. The position will lead a multi-level accounting team, support close and reporting processes, strengthen policies and controls, and partner cross-functionally on audits, systems, automation, and finance transformation initiatives. Requirements Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities Oversee general ledger ownership, journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting operations Manage a multi-level accounting team, including leaders who manage teams underneath them Support GAAP‑compliant reporting, audit requests, controls, and internal accounting policies Drive process improvement, automation, ERP initiatives, and scalable accounting operations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance CPA required 10+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong General Ledger, month‑end close, journal entry, and accounting operations experience Proven people leadership experience, including managing managers Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, audit processes, and controls Oracle experience preferred Financial services or technology industry experience preferred, but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Madison-Davis, LLC
