We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to own commercial construction projects in the Jacksonville area, from buyout through closeout. In this role, you'll lead budget, schedule, quality, subcontractor coordination, and owner communication while partnering closely with the Superintendent to deliver successful projects and exceptional client experiences. WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Project delivery from buyout through closeout: budget, schedule, quality, and documentation. Buyout, change orders, pay applications, and monthly cost projections — so decisions are made on good numbers. Subcontractor coordination, holding trade partners accountable to schedule and quality. Owner, architect, and contractor (OAC) meetings. Keep owners informed, not guessing. Submittals, RFIs, procurement, and document control, keeping records accurate and accessible. Schedule, site logistics, and safety, in partnership with the Superintendent. Early flags on schedule and cost risks — with options, not just problems.

WHAT YOU BRING

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, running projects as the PM of record. Five years is our firm minimum. True commercial experience — ground-up and major renovation work for a commercial general contractor. Residential or specialty-trade backgrounds are not a fit for this seat. Deep working knowledge of buyout, change management, pay applications, submittals, RFIs, and construction document control. Proven ability to manage subcontractors and communicate with owners and design teams. Strong organization, written and verbal communication, and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background, drug, and driving-record screening. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred. Experience with construction project-management software such as Procore, Outbuild, or similar preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Based in our Jacksonville office with regular jobsite travel. Jobsite visits involve active construction environments: uneven terrain, ladders, and required PPE. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with additional hours as project demands require.
