Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the frequency, intensity, and duration of clients’ mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that are aligned with their personal goals and therapeutic needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance overall well-being.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to accommodate changing needs and conditions.
\n
• Work in multidisciplinary teams with psychiatrists and other health professionals for an integrated approach to client care.
\n
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements related to mood disorders to continuously enhance treatment effectiveness.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue professional development opportunities offered by the organization.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and work to reduce stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will primarily focus on clients dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related issues. We serve a varied demographic, encompassing individuals from different socioeconomic backgrounds, including those in vulnerable situations such as homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your role is critical in empowering these clients to overcome obstacles and lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• An annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 based on your qualifications and experience.
