Records Management Specialist

Position Number: 000507 Department: Human Resources (Adm) Employment Type: Permanent - Full-time Months Per Year: 12 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the accurate data entry of personnel and pay-related actions into Banner HR, within all established payroll deadlines. Will be responsible for data integrity for information that is manually and automatically entered into Banner HR and the employee's personnel records. Pay actions will include setting up new hires, changes to an existing assignment, such as extensions, fund and salary changes, FTE changes, leave statuses, and separations. Minimum Experience / Education: Required Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Note: Some state job postings state you can qualify by an 'equivalent combination of education and experience.' If that language appears above, then you may qualify through EITHER years of education OR years of directly related experience, OR a combination of both. Preferred Education Skills and Experience: Experience working in an HR office handling data entry of personnel actions and/or payroll actions. Experience working in higher education is a plus. Understanding of FMLA and workers' compensation. Experience with Banner, HRM systems such as PeopleAdmin, and an I-9 system such as LawLogix.
