RPh on the Go has partnered with a hospital in Chicago, Illinois , seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a full-time, 13-week (temp-to-perm) opportunity. This position offers consistent day-shift hours and the opportunity to join the team long-term.
Position Details
- Location: Chicago, IL
- Setting: Inpatient Hospital
- 13-weeks (temp-to-perm)
- Full-time; Day shift – 1st or 2nd shift
- Local candidates only – no travel candidates
Responsibilities
- Verify and dispense inpatient medication orders
- Prepare and oversee sterile compounded medications and IVs
- Review medication therapies for safety, dosing, interactions, and appropriateness
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacy technicians, and other clinical staff
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Illinois Pharmacist license
- Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
- Sterile compounding experience required
- Cerner experience preferred
- Must be local to the Chicago area
