Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Internet Sales Manager to lead our digital sales efforts and deliver an exceptional online buying experience. This individual will be responsible for managing internet leads, developing a high-performing sales process, driving appointment conversions, and working closely with the sales team to maximize showroom traffic and vehicle sales.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Manage all incoming internet leads from dealership websites, third-party lead providers, social media, and other digital sources.



• 
  

  Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, text, and online chat.



• 
  

  Convert online leads into scheduled showroom appointments and vehicle sales.



• 
  

  Monitor lead response times and ensure all customer communications meet dealership standards.



• 
  

  Train, coach, and motivate the internet sales team to achieve performance goals.



• 
  

  Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales metrics, appointment ratios, and closing percentages.



• 
  

  Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM and ensure consistent follow-up.



• 
  

  Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Marketing team to improve lead generation and conversion strategies.



• 
  

  Stay current on inventory, manufacturer incentives, financing options, and competitor offerings.



• 
  

  Deliver a seamless, transparent, and professional customer experience from initial inquiry through delivery.

Qualifications

• 
  

  Minimum of 3 years of automotive sales experience, with internet sales management experience preferred.



• 
  

  Demonstrated success managing internet leads and achieving sales targets.



• 
  

  Strong knowledge of CRM systems, lead management, and digital sales processes.



• 
  

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



• 
  

  Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.



• 
  

  Leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop a successful sales team.



• 
  

  Professional appearance and customer-first mindset.



• 
  

  Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Skills

  Experience with dealership CRM platforms (DealerSocket, VinSolutions, Elead, or similar).

  Strong understanding of digital marketing and lead conversion strategies.
