It's our values that defines us to all of our key audiences: our shareholders, customers, prospective employees and especially ourselves.**Benefits of joining our team!*** Annual incentive plan (bonus)* Paid vacation and sick time* Up to 10 paid holidays/year* 4 hours voluntary time off to volunteer for your favorite charity* Health, dental, and vision insurance, subject to applicable premium deductions* Short-term and long-term disability insurance - 100% company paid* Other ancillary insurance options available* 401(k) retirement account with matching MPG contributions & profit sharing (if applicable)* Profit Sharing Plan - potential up to 3% of base salary* Educational Reimbursement up to $5,250 per year* Gym membership reimbursement up to $120 per year**Primary Responsibilities:*** Position is responsible for inspecting electronic assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering documents, work instructions, customer specifications and industry standards.* Verify conformance and write nonconformance reports when discrepancies are found.* Verify rework/repair has been completed in accordance with specified requirements.* Report inspections and move product in the proper system.* Stamp/sign off on inspection steps upon completion, approving and releasing the product for shipment.* Interface with production and engineering on production and product problems.* Assist production by providing explanations and/or instructions on quality issues and production issues.* Work closely with quality engineering and manufacturing engineering to improve the process and design for manufacturability.* Spot audit in the production area to ensure that the proper instructions are being followed and to provide feedback to management to improve the process/system.* Work closely with engineering on engineering builds and prototypes to point out potential production, quality and reliability problems.* Assist management with implementing process controls, improvement activities, writing work instruction and inspection instructions.**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*** Basic understanding of IPC-A-610.* Proficient ability to utilize a PC and the Microsoft Office Suite software package.* Ability to read prints.* Good manual dexterity.* Able to manage time and priorities effectively.* Good problem-solving skills.* Ability to demonstrate effective written and spoken communications skills.* ISO9001 and AS9100 training, preferred.* Must be able to use basic hand tools/gauges.* Must be able to use microscope.#LI-HT1 #SWEThis position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.We consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position's responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, a candidate's education/training, the position's location, and the key skills needed for the position.
