Operations Support

Evaluate technology and system needs with BFO user groups to improve organizational efficiency, onboarding, and service delivery flow Represent BFO on project teams affecting Public Sector, Federal Electronic Billing systems and processes, Purchase Orders, and other critical business processes Manage feedback for supported systems and tools Conduct quarterly roundtable meetings to identify process improvement opportunities and drive implementation Prepare Jira user stories, business cases, and other documentation for system enhancements Participate in ad-hoc projects representing BFO’s strategic objectives and technology and innovation goals Build and maintain relationships with business owners for key systems Ensure BFO representation in enterprise releases, enhancements, and UI changes Partner with the BFO Digital Lead, frontline teams, and external partners to develop and implement automated solutions Drive digital adoption Support Verizon’s Business Finance Operations mission and business customers Requirements Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience Four or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience Two or more years of project management experience Experience in the development, tracking, and troubleshooting of digital solutions Experience with Verizon systems: ECPD, EPOD, ACSS, WFM, My Business, and JIRA Experience with Google G Suite, including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive Willingness to travel up to 10% Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented approach Ability to communicate with internal and external partners Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities Master’s degree preferred Experience in customer support, sales, or operations focused on business customers preferred Experience communicating with or presenting to upper-level management preferred Federal government and/or public sector experience preferred Experience presenting data and findings to broad audiences preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in project management, digital solution development, and stakeholder communication, with a focus on enhancing organizational efficiency and service delivery in the public sector.
