Job Description
Managing kitchen staff and kitchen menu, controlling all menu supplies and kitchen inventory, and ordering anything that the kitchen staff or kitchen in general may need on a week to week basis. Needs to make out bi-weekly schedule for all kitchen staff including cooks, prep staff and dishwashers, (very important) must make sure kitchen is clean and safe at all times. must make sure that all kitchen staff is well groomed and have protective food handling equipment at all time, especially when on the prep or serving line. Kitchen manager also has to keep general managers or owners of all situations that pertain to the restaurant .
