IT Manager for AI Training

$60 - $75 per hour

Role Overview

Apply your IT leadership experience to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world input. You will contribute expertise from strategic technology leadership, infrastructure management, and technical operations to help improve how AI tools learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide practical input on IT strategy, systems architecture planning, and infrastructure optimization scenarios.
Evaluate vendor management and procurement challenges, including collaboration and third-party system integration.
Share examples and recommendations related to security compliance, risk mitigation, and regulatory standards.
Review proposed IT solutions and identify gaps or improvements in architecture and implementation.
Contribute best practices for technical team leadership, knowledge transfer, mentoring, and upskilling.
Give detailed feedback on documentation, workflows, and process designs to improve clarity, feasibility, and operational efficiency.
Participate in structured discussions and written assignments that inform AI tools for IT professionals.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as an IT or Systems Manager, including leadership of technical teams or management of enterprise-scale infrastructure.
Expertise in IT strategy, systems architecture, and technology roadmapping.
Experience with vendor management, contract evaluation, and third-party solution integration.
Knowledge of security compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR, along with risk management practices.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts.
Experience mentoring or coaching IT professionals and promoting operational best practices.
Ability to assess documentation, workflows, and processes from a holistic IT management perspective.

Work Terms

Remote, independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

$60 to $75 per hour.
