Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation with required passing scores
• Participate in holiday coverage rotation, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required annual hands-on competency training and pre-start modules as directed by the facility
• Adhere to all facility compliance standards, including background check and licensing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Emergency Room nursing; travel experience accepted
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or active compact state license required at time of submission – no exceptions
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required at time of submission
• Active PALS certification required at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months required; co-worker references will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• 18 months of Emergency Room experience within a single location
