Job Description
SURGICAL NURSE - OPERATING ROOM

Schedule:
Days - 06:30-15:00 (M-F)

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- KS RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 2+ years of experience
- Level 1 trauma experience
- Strong scrub experience
- Familiarity with DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, and exploratory laparotomy cases

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to patients in the operating room.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment and proper surgical techniques.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout surgical procedures.
- Document nursing care and patient responses accurately.

- Orientation: Mon-Tues new employee orientation; Wed-Fri nursing orientation offered every week in the summer.
