Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Serene Behavioral Health Group, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify the psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families in preparation for individualized treatment plans.

• Implementing therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to patients' unique circumstances.

• Collaborating closely with other healthcare team members to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations to support a high standard of care.

• Engaging in regular case reviews with your peers to enhance clinical skills and share best practices.

• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding psychological well-being, available treatments, and community resources.

• Staying informed on the latest research developments in mental health care to continually enhance the services offered.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with patients in hospice care, who may be experiencing complex emotional responses related to terminal illness, grief, and loss. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
